Congrats HATCH Pitch 2018 finalists

It's time to close the door on HATCH Pitch Summit 2018. Every year, it seems as if HATCH Pitch can't get any better, but it always does, and this years Summit followed suit. Here's a recap:

Kicking off the Summit was HATCH Pitch founder Greg Wright and past HATCH Pitch Finalist Ridescout's (Moovel) Founder and candidate for Congress, Joseph Kopser. They opened up the stage for finalist pitches from Bryan Mennell of Verimos, Alex Baqui from Valhalla Healthcare, Adero Davis from FairFare and Nikhil Pooviah from CancerAid. After the finalist pitches, the Finalists and Summit attendees had the opportunity to "breakout" into groups with mentors to gain knowledge and get/give feedback.

Following, mentors Juliana Garaizar, Paulo Machado, Roberto Moctezuma, John Davis, and Paul Kwiatkowski gave a recap on the productive conversations from each respective breakout session. HATCH Pitch Summit 2018 Sponsor, Capital Factory's Josh Baer then dropped in to share the Texas Startup Manifesto, declaring Texas as the best place to grow a business. Lastly, as a complete surprise, HATCH Pitch 2016 Finalist SPLT's Yale Zhang spoke about SPLT's recent acquisition by Bosch, along with startup advice for the finalists and the crowd.
