BrainCheck Wins HATCH Pitch Competition

AUSTIN, TX—March 13, 2016HATCH pitch, the revolutionary startup pitch competition, announced its winners at Ballet Austin in Austin, TX held March 13th. BrainCheck, CarForce, and Artiphon, were selected by the judges as the overall best of the best!  Each of the 12 finalists had four minutes to pitch their idea before fielding questions from a panel of thirteen corporate, angel, and venture investor judges.

Finalists were selected from 20 countries and 34 states to participate, and each received one-on-one coaching from mentors to refine their presentations prior to competition. Judges evaluated the pitches and determined companies in which they would invest a virtual $1M.

There were 3 sessions – Digital Health, Connected World, and Mobility. In Digital Health, Brain Check took first place. In Connected World, Artiphon took first place, and Car Force took first place in Mobility. Prize donations came from companies Microsoft BizSpark, Founder Suite, and SkillGigs.

“The new venue at Ballet Austin was stunning and our finalists performed well. I’m excited to watch them progress. I really enjoyed the thoughtful questions and feedback from our judges,” said Greg Wright, founder of HATCH pitch.
